Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves doesn't hit theatres until the 31st, but Paramount Pictures has screened the movie for critics quite early at this weekend's SXSW festival, and it looks like the studio had every reason to be confident!

The first reviews for the fantasy adventure are in, and it's currently sitting at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Only eight reviews have been counted at this time, so there's obviously a lot of room for fluctuation, but this is still a very positive sign for a movie that really could have gone either way based on its trailers.

Based on what we can gather from these first reactions, Honor Among Thieves is a fun, funny, exciting time with strong characters and performances. It also sounds like the film pays homage to the classic tabletop game without being a slavishly faithful adaptation.
