It's been a while since we had any updates on this one, but Netflix has now shared a first-look image and some footage from Damsel, which stars Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown as a princess with a very big, fire-breathing problem.

Brown plays Elodie, a princess who agrees to marry Prince Henry before coming to realize that the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to a dragon to repay an ancient debt.

When it becomes clear that no one is coming to save her, Elodie decides to take matters into her own hands and slay the lethal beast herself.

Damsel is directed Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, Intruders), and also stars Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, and Nick Robinson.

The fantasy adventure is set to premiere on October 13.
