A third clip from The Little Mermaid is now online, and this time we get to hear a little sample of Sebastian the crab (Daveed Diggs) singing arguably the most iconic song from the animated classic, "Under the Sea."
If you've seen the original you probably won't need any context, but Ariel (Halle Bailey) has set her mind on visiting the "above world," and Seb is determined to stop her, singing a tune about why "life's so much better down where it's wetter."
The first social media reactions for the movie hit earlier this week, and while Bailey's performance, the narrative changes and some other elements came in for a lot of praise (some seem to feel it's the best Disney live-action remake yet), the response was mixed overall. We'd say divisive reviews loom.

The Little Mermaid is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric.
While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.
The movie is set to swim into theaters on May 26, 2023.
