Following an appearance from Christopher Nolan on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Universal Pictures has debuted an epic new theatrical trailer for The Odyssey, offering a jaw-dropping new look at one of this year's biggest blockbusters.

The new footage offers a stunning extended look at what's coming for us in July, including fresh footage of the massive cyclops, giants, war, tons of evil Robert Pattinson as Antinous, and a first look at Charlize Theron as the alluring Calypso. Plus, of course, we get plenty of stunning new shots of our leading man Matt Damon as he goes through heaven and earth to reunite with his wife and son.

The project boasts an estimated budget in the $250 million range, which would make it the most expensive feature of Nolan's career. It's also his first to be shot entirely on IMAX's 70 mm film cameras. Tickets for IMAX 70 mm screenings went on sale last year, and most sold out within the first 12 hours of their availability. Many box office pundits believe The Odyssey could eventually become the highest grossing title of Nolan's illustrious career, topping The Dark Knight Rises ($1.115 billion).

Universal has also secured an exclusive four-week IMAX window for the film, meaning it will be the only film to play on IMAX screens from preview screenings on July 16 to August 14. While certainly welcome news for moviegoers, the exclusivity will keep Spider-Man: Brand New Day out of IMAX domestically, unless Sony finds a date later in the year.

The film features a massive ensemble cast, headlined by Academy Award-winner Matt Damon, with a supporting cast featuring Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Jimmy Gonzales, Elliot Page, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Rafi Gavron, Shiloh Fernandez, Corey Hawkins, Nick E. Tarabay, Maurice Compte, Michael Vlamis, Iddo Goldberg, Josh Stewart, Ryan Hurst, Anthony Molinari, Jovan Adepo, Logan Marshall-Green, James Remar, Travis Scott, Sean Avery, and Ian Casselberry.

The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17!
