Netflix recently unveiled the first trailer for The Witcher season 3, and they've now followed up the footage with a pair of new promo stills (via EW).
The images spotlight sorceress Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) as she attends the annual Beltane festival along with Geralt (Henry Cavill) and Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan).
It sounds like Yennefer will have something of a redemption arc this season, as she attempts to make amends for (almost) selling Ciri out to a demon in order to restore her magic.
As for Geralt, this will be the last time we see Cavill as the titular monster hunter, with Liam Hemsworth set to take over from season 4 on.
"All we knew were the feelings that we have when any season comes to an end. It's full of pride and love and accomplishment for what we've done," Chalotra says of her co-star's departure. "So, we stayed in that moment rather than anything else. The news was... yeah, it's hard to take because he's a crucial part of the show and we all adore him. So, we're gonna miss him a lot. I wish him all the best."
The Witcher season 3 will be released in two parts: the five-episode Volume 1 arrives on Netflix June 29, and the three-episode Volume 2 debuts July 27.
