Netflix debuted a new poster and announced a premiere date for The Witcher: Blood Origin during its Tudum fan-event over the weekend, and the streamer has now shared a new look at the prequel series via a batch of promo stills.

The images feature the show's main protagonists Scian (Michelle Yeoh); Fjall "Stoneheart" (Laurence O'Fuarain) and Éile "The Lark" Lithe (Sophia Brown), as well as Minnie Driver as shape-shifting narrator Seanchai.

The Grosse Point Blank actress has the following to say about her character.

“Where The Witcher came from is a whole world and you need some help understanding that. So I’m pivotal in helping people understand where this origin story comes from.”

Check out the new stills below.

Specific plot details are still mostly under wraps, but we do know that the show will be set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher, and focus on the origin of the very first monster hunter as well as the events that lead to the pivotal "conjunction of the spheres."

The Witcher: Blood Origin is set to hit Netflix on December 25.
