The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power promotion has kicked up a notch or two over the past couple of weeks, and on the heels of the recent SDCC trailer, Entertainment Weekly has debuted a series of motion covers spotlighting all 22 main characters.
Well, most of them!
The likes of Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards), Isildur (Maxim Baldry) and the rest of the Elves, Dwarves, Harfoots and humans who will stand against the rising darkness are here, but one main player is conspicuous by his absence: Sauron the Deceiver!
We got a first glimpse of the demonic villain (Anson Boon) in his Annatar form, but it has been confirmed that he will shape-shift throughout the course of the season, which means we will likely see something a little closer to his black armored warrior look from Peter Jackson's movies at some point.
