Social media reactions to Universal's latest Jurassic World movie have been coming in over the past couple of hours, and it's looking like Dominion is going to be the most divisive instalment in what was already shaping up to be a highly divisive trilogy.

Though some certainly seemed to enjoy the "big, dumb" spectacle, most of the Tweets below are either mixed-negative or outright blasting Dominion as a massive disappointment. One critic even compares the film to Roland Emmerich's disastrous '90s Godzilla reboot (ouch).

It's not all bad (some believe it's the strongest JW movie), but it seems safe to assume that if you weren't a huge fan of the previous outings, Dominion won't do a whole lot for you.

Though specific plot details remain under wraps, a vague synopsis tells us that "Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live--and hunt--alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures."

Jurassic World Dominion is set for release on June 10.
