This summer, Universal Pictures is set to finally release the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that will span the globe and highlight a lot of epic dinosaur action.

The final chapter in this trilogy (and potentially the current era of the Jurassic franchise) looks all sorts of epic, and it clearly needs a lengthy runtime in order to do the story justice.

According to One Take News, Jurassic World Dominion will clock in at 146 minutes and 57 seconds including credits. For comparison, Jurassic World was 124 minutes and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was 129 minutes. Going further back than that, Jurassic Park was 127 minutes, The Lost World: Jurassic Park was 129 minutes, and Jurassic Park III was a mere 92 minutes.

With that, Jurassic World Dominion is officially the longest instalment of this franchise to date.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding this movie, and with a lengthy runtime, fans are likely going to walk away satisfied with the sheer amount of dinosaur action they experience on the big screen.

The movie also features new cast members DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari) and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). Returning cast include BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez, and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow from a screenplay by Emily Carmichael (Battle at Big Rock) and Trevorrow, Jurassic World Dominion arrives in theaters on June 10.
