During today's Star Wars Celebration panel looking ahead to Lucasfilm's big and small screen plans, it was confirmed that both Ahsoka and The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney+ in 2023.
We had hoped that the latter might be here in time for the holidays, but with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor both on the way, perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that the wait for more Din Djarin and Grogu will be a little longer this time. A sizzle reel was shown to those in attendance at the event in Anaheim, California, but there are sadly no plans for it to be released online.
However, we can tell you that it showed Din telling his loveable sidekick, "We’re going to Mandalore so that I can be forgiven for my transgressions." It was also announced that Katee Sackhoff will return as Bo-Katan Kryze, and the actor was on hand to make it clear that her character has unfinished business with Mando.
February 2023 will no doubt be here before we know it, though there was no mention of a premiere month for Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson addressed fans in a brief pre-recorded video message).
For now, we do have a teaser poster for The Mandalorian, and you can take a look at that below:
