Disney may own Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, but that doesn't mean crossovers are coming any time soon. At best, it just means stories set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe can make reference to that Galaxy Far, Far Away, such as the Emperor Palpatine LEGO Minifigure in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Many fans hold out hope for these characters to meet in some form, of course, but Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac seems confident about what the outcome would be should his MCU superhero cross paths with Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian. Isaac and Pascal are close friends in real life, of course, with their bromance often making waves on social media among those excited to see them hanging out.
As for what would happen if Marc Spector battled Din Djarin, Isaac joked: "Moon Knight would definitely win, and who cares if Pedro agrees because it's fact. You can't argue facts."
These comments are all in good fun, of course, though we can't help imagining how awesome this battle would be. You'd think Disney would at least deliver a non-canon Marvel/Star Wars crossover in a comic book, but nothing of the sorts is in the works, and both franchises are clearly set to remain separate for now. As a result, we'll have to wait and see whether Pascal has any sort of rebuttal to this!
Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30. The Mandalorian returns later this year.
