Hold on to your hats because what you're about to see might just blow you away!

We've been hearing a lot about "Ben" Kenobi's duel with Darth Vader in Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi, with various outlets stating that the Sith Lord makes short work of his former Master. Of course, a rematch follows, and it's there that Obi-Wan once again embraces the Force and starts to become the wise Jedi we first met all those years ago in A New Hope.

Now, some behind the scenes footage from the upcoming limited series appears to have leaked online and it features a moment that's been talked about a lot by various scoopers.

As you can see, Obi-Wan is attempting to overpower Vader, but finds himself unable to do so; it's then the villain uses the Force to send his former ally flying. We have no reason to believe this isn't the real deal, though it's unclear where the footage originated. Regardless, it's been posted to Reddit and is all over social media, and you can see the post from the latter below.

Some Star Wars fans have had their doubts about Obi-Wan and Vader meeting again after their clash in Revenge of the Sith, but A New Hope left room for interpretation. Based on this epic tease, Lucasfilm has made the right decision by finding a way to have them cross paths again.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on Disney+ on May 27 with its first two episodes.

Vader holding him off with one hand.

@Fogs - Probably lol. Obi Wan likely isn't himself when they first encounter each other, while Vader is peaking. I wonder how the second fight goes down, and also if the first fight is an homage of sorts to the final Maul v Obi Wan (minus the dying part).

I think there is an inconsistency in Star Wars. In the original Star Wars, it makes it seem as though Obi Wan was beaten by Vader because he was old. Yet Palpatine was not hindered by his age nor was Dooku.

@Forthas - In the first movie Obi wan LETS Vader strike him down, it’s made very clear within the movie itself.

@Deklipz - BUT...Vader says to him "your powers are weak, old man" which suggests his force ability is fading with age. I would imagine that Vader can feel when the force is strong or weak.

@Forthas - It's strategy for someone to downplay their potential advantage to force their opponent into doing what they want. Obi wanted Vader to strike him down and for Luke to see it. Also, there's precedent canon-wise for a force user(s) diminishing their own presence in the force. Sidious/Palpatine did it the entire time he was a Senator and then Chancellor. If he weren't doing so the Jedi would have known he was a Sith lord long before he came out of the Sith closet.

Meh. Vader is supposed to wear his black robes OVER his chest plate, like in Ep IV and Rogue One. Continuity error.
