The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi premiered for those in attendance at Star Wars Celebration last night before heading to Disney+ a little earlier than advertised, and the initial reactions to Lucasfilm's latest Star Wars series have been very positive.

It sounds like these opening installments are going to subvert expectations, though no details on what surprises they may hold in store were revealed (well, we did hear one thing, but won't be spoiling it here). Ewan McGregor's performance has been praised across the board, and many are calling Obi-Wan Kenobi the best live-action Star Wars show of the three that have been released so far.

It's always best not to read too much into these first reactions as they do tend to only focus on the positives, but we should have a better idea of what to expect when the full reviews arrive. Of course, you can just go watch the episodes for yourselves right now if you have a Disney+ subscription!

Check out a few of the reactions below along with a new poster featuring the legendary Jedi.
