OBI-WAN KENOBI Stills Tease Sith Inquisitors' Hunt For The Jedi Master And Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader

Our first look at Obi-Wan Kenobi came via an Entertainment Weekly cover story, but that meant getting stills covered in annoying watermarks. Well, Disney+ has finally shared those on their press site, meaning we can take a closer look at those key reveals...including that awesome shot of Darth Vader!

Hayden Christensen will reprise the role of the iconic Sith Lord after last playing the villain way back in 2005, and we'd bet on this moment taking place inside his mysterious cast on Mustafar.

Obi-Wan and the Sith Inquisitors receive most of the spotlight here, and seeing the latter makes this limited series feel like Star Wars Rebels come to life. As for poor "Ben" Kenobi, his isolation on Tatooine is clearly taking its toll, but it will be this show that finally spurs the Jedi Master back into action.

Recently, a new plot synopsis was revealed that teased the Jedi Master's battle with the Empire and a mission we believe will involve him leaving Tatooine to come to Princess Leia's rescue. "During the reign of the Galactic Empire, former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi embarks on a crucial mission," it reads. "Kenobi must confront allies turned enemies and face the wrath of the Empire."

Obi-Wan Kenobi stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. The series is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold.

Obi-Wan Kenobi  premieres on May 25.
