With less than one week to go before Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives on Disney+, a brief new TV spot for the highly anticipated limited series has found its way online. There are a few snippets of new footage here, including a pensive "Ben" Kenobi and more of those sinister Sith Inquisitors on the hunt.
Something has brought them to Tatooine, and with both the Jedi Master and a young Luke Skywalker on the planet, we can't help but be concerned for the safety of both characters.
We're not anticipating another trailer to Obi-Wan Kenobi to drop before Friday, but it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility that a new minute-long preview is going to drop at some point. Darth Vader has yet to be revealed in all his glory, of course, and while that would make for one heck of a money shot in a trailer, Lucasfilm holding it back has only helped build anticipation.
Check out this new Obi-Wan Kenobi TV spot below:
Obi-Wan Kenobi's story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where the hero faced his greatest defeat - the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader (we're hoping to also see him as Anakin Skywalker).
Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. Deborah Chow directed all six episodes of the show which premieres on May 27 with its first two episodes and wraps up on June 22.
