Episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi weren't sent out to critics in advance, meaning they got to watch the first two episodes at the same time as everyone else. Now, though, reviews have started pouring in and, with that, we have an early Rotten Tomatoes score. As you can see below, after 29 verdicts have been counted, the latest Star Wars TV series has an 86% score.
That's not a bad start, though we're sure the number will fluctuate as more reviews hit the aggregator.
With this score comes a freshly released batch of spoiler stills from Obi-Wan Kenobi's first two episodes showcasing a number of key moments. As you might expect, the vast majority of the spotlight is put on Ewan McGregor's Jedi Master both on Tatooine and walking through the seedy streets of Daiyu.
Based on past experience, expect more shots to be shared from the series early next week. Hopefully, those will focus on a few of the other new and returning characters.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi is a showcase for the immense talents of Ewan McGregor and Vivien Lyra Blair, and after just two episodes, it's already on a par with The Mandalorian as the best Star Wars TV series yet," we said in our review of the Disney+ series following its debut earlier today.
