Lucasfilm has released a new poster for Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, bringing back some familiar faces from the past...though some of them do look a little different!

Take Count Dooku, for example; we'll be catching up with that villain during his younger days, learning more about why he turned his back on the Jedi and how he fell under Darth Sidious' spell. Ahsoka Tano is also front and centre, with Ashley Eckstein set to reprise her role as the beloved The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels character to further flesh out her past.

We spoke to the actress earlier this year about her return, and she shared her excitement to play Ahsoka again.

"I am just beyond honoured to step back into Ahsoka’s boots and breathe life into her again for Tales of the Jedi. Dave Filoni promises me I would always be the voice of Ahsoka in animation, and I’m thrilled to return and so excited. The shorts are beautiful. The stories are wonderful. I can’t wait to share them with everyone."

Elsewhere on the poster, we see the likes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, and even Yaddle. Rumour has it Tales of the Jedi will finally reveal why she vanished after The Phantom Menace, so this will be no throwaway series.

The six brand-new animated shorts feature parables built around Jedi from the prequel era. In the series, we'll journey into the lives of two distinctly different Jedi: Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku. Each will be put to the test as they make the choices that will define their destinies.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will premiere on Disney+ on October 26, with Dave Filoni, Carrie Beck, and Athena Portillo serving as executive producers.
