Obi-Wan Kenobi wasn't released in time to be considered for this year's 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, but there is some good news for The Book of Boba Fett and Star Wars: Visions

The live-action series has been recognised for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie," "Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series," "Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes," and "Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series, Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie."

As you can see, the show failed to land any major nominations, though that's not massively surprising. The show drew something of a mixed response from fans and critics alike, and while the consensus was mostly positive, we didn't expect The Book of Boba Fett to cause any major issues from the shows that have been recognised in the major categories.

However, these are still important awards and we're pleased to see the hard work of those in these respective departments receive the attention they deserve.

There was also some very good news for Star Wars: Visions, as that's been nominated for "Outstanding Short Form Animated Program" (we'd argue the show would be a deserving winner).

The Book of Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter and Ming-Na Wen as deadly assassin Fennec Shand, and sees the legendary Boba Fett return in a quest to rule the Tatooine underworld. The Disney+ series was executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serving as co-executive producers, and John Bartnicki as producer.

Star Wars: Visions, an anthology series, brings Star Wars into the world of anime with nine stories from several of Japan’s most acclaimed studios. The animated series is executive produced by Jacqui Lopez, James Waugh, Josh Rimes, and Justin Leach, and produced by Kanako Shreasaki.

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on NBC on Monday, September 12. The Book of Boba Fett and Star Wars: Visions are now streaming on Disney+.
