THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT "Honest Trailer" Pokes Fun At STAR WARS' Most Ineffectual Bounty Hunter And Crimelord

Screen Junkies has released its "Honest Trailer" for The Book of Boba Fett, and it doesn't take it easy on a series that mostly served as a better primer for The Mandalorian season 3 than a standalone story.

The Book of Boba Fett was a fun ride, but there's no denying that it wasn't the strongest Star Wars story we've seen in the Disney era of this Galaxy Far, Far Away. Now, an "Honest Trailer" has been released for the Disney+ series and it definitely doesn't go easy on poor Boba Fett's first solo outing.

Fett's somewhat underwhelming escape from the Sarlaac Pit is covered, as is the fact he spends a good chunk of the show in a Bacta Tank looking back on his weird time with the Tusken Raiders.

Ultimately, their biggest issue appears to be the fact poor Boba isn't very good at anything he does, though it's the colourful biker gang that receives perhaps the most ridicule. It's all in good fun, of course, but there are some valid criticisms here and The Book of Boba Fett certainly wasn't perfect (particularly when it came to the former bounty hunter's attempts to become Tatooine's crimelord)

What boiled down to two episodes of The Mandalorian arguably were, though, and this trailer points out how the show was arguably at its best when setting the stage for that show's season 3.
