The review embargo for Warner Bros. and Legendary's latest MonsterVerse movie, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, lifted earlier today, and as critics continue to share their verdicts online, an initial Rotten Tomatoes score has been revealed.
Despite mixed reviews, this latest outing for the iconic Titans has (so far) managed to avoid the dreaded green splat, and currently sits at a so-so 61%.
Though this score is sure to change over the next few days, 89 reviews have already been counted, so it may not fluctuate that much.
The previous MonsterVerse flick, Godzilla Vs. Kong, actually managed to achieve "Certified Fresh" status with a healthy 76%, while Godzilla: King of the Monsters sits at a rotten 42%.
