"The park has closed. The kingdom has fallen. The wait is over."
Get ready for the summer of Jurassic as its been officially announced that Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will return to Netflix for its fifth and final season on July 21.
The season five synopsis confirms the new batch of episodes will pick up almost immediately after the events of last season, reading, "The arrival of Kenji’s father, Mr. Kon, renews hope of a rescue for the campers. But as the nefarious plans of Mantah Corp. come into focus and one of the Camp Fam turns on their own, the others must band together if they want to save the dinosaurs and ever make it home."
While the teaser is fairly brief, it does feature one item we never thought we'd see again: Dennis Nedry's Barbasol can, which seems to be in pretty good shape nearly thirty years later and presumably has all of those stolen embryos still intact. What this means for the final season as well as the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion, however, remains to be seen...
The main voice cast of Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld), Jenna Ortega (Scream), Ryan Potter (Titans), Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally), Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), and Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley) will all return to voice their respective roles, while Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Cruella, The Good Place) and Academy Award-nominee Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense; A.I. Artificial Intelligence) have joined the cast in new roles.
