Netflix may have a hit on their hands with They Cloned Tyrone. The sci-fi comedy mystery debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a 96% critics score from 23 reviews.

The film opened today for a limited North American theatrical run before officially hitting Netflix on July 21.

The film is sure to receive some extra buzz as it will be the first project released by Jamie Foxx since his mysterious, life-threatening medical emergency. 

They Cloned Tyrone follows the titular protagonist, a drug dealer who is shot dead by a rival.

However, he wakes up the next day unharmed, and discovers that he is a clone. He teams up with Slick Charles, a pimp, and Yo-Yo, a prostitute, to investigate his death and the cloning conspiracy. 

The film stars John Boyega as Tyrone Fontaine, Jamie Foxx as Slick Charles and Teyonah Parris as Yo-Yo.

Also appearing in the film in supporting roles are David Alan Grier and Kiefer Sutherland.
