We're not sure how much demand there was for a new Spy Kids movie (well, we are sure, but there's no need to be so impolite this early on a Friday morning), but a reboot(?) is on the way, and Netflix has now followed up the recent teaser trailer with a new poster.
The promo banner spotlights the new family of tech-savvy espionage specialists we'll meet in Spy Kids: Armageddon, this time played by Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson.
Robert Rodriguez, who directed all previous entries in the franchise, will also helm this latest instalment.
Armageddon is being promoted as a reboot, but we've heard that it may serve more as more of a "requel" will some ties to the earlier movies.
“When the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world,” reads the synopsis.
Check out the poster below, along with the recent trailer.
Racer Max co-wrote Spy Kids: Armageddon, which also stars Billy Magnussen, Everly Carganilla and DJ Cotrona.
