Tomorrow, Paramount Pictures will release a new trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The movie is fast approaching, and with excitement waning in recent months, we're optimistic this sneak peek will go some way in building anticipation back up for the reboot.
As for this trailer teaser, it doesn't reveal much, though we can't help but get chills seeing the Autobots standing side-by-side with the Maximals.
Recently, insiders claimed that Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a "mess," something that's caused concern among fans of the iconic franchise. Bumblebee felt like a return to form after Michael Bay's increasingly chaotic movies, but it struggled to find the same level of box office success as previous instalments, and all eyes are now on this latest effort.
A couple of new stills have also been released along with comments from the cast and crew which you find below with the teaser.
"Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a '90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons," reads the movie's brief synopsis.
As for the cast, that's led by Hamilton star Anthony Ramos, with Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Tobe Nwigwe joining him. Peter Cullen will once again lend his voice to Optimus Prime, while Ron Perlman has stepped in to play Optimus Primal, the leader of the Maximals.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to be released in theatres on June 9, 2023.
