The third episode of Ahsoka is now streaming on Disney+, and while the action-packed instalment didn't really advance the main story in any significant way, it did feature the live-action debut of another Star Wars Rebels character (more here), and may have dropped a little clue about the true identity of the masked Inquisitor known as Marrok.

Spoilers follow.

At one point during "Time To Fly," Ahsoka, Sabine and a temporarily out-of-action Huyang encounter a pod of Purrgil (the interdimensional space-whales from Rebels) while being pursued by Shin Hati, Marrok and their forces. As they fly through the creatures, Shin keeps her focus firmly on the T6, while Marrok turns his head to watch the Purrgil pass his ship.

Why is this significant? Well, it may not be (a character showing interest in a group of massive space-whales wouldn't exactly be unusual), but something about the way the camera lingers on Marrok for just a split second longer than Hati as he watches the creatures leads us to believe that this scene might be hinting that it really is Ezra Bridger beneath that visor.

In the series finale of Rebels, the Purrgil transport Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn to another galaxy, so it would only make sense that the now corrupted/possibly brainwashed Force-wielder would be distracted by seeing them again.

Granted, it might be a bit of a stretch, especially since there's no real evidence to back up the Ezra theory. There are also several other possibilities (Starkiller is another popular pick), and it might well turn out that Marrok is simply another faceless Inquisitor that'll ultimately be dispatched in battle without ever unmasking.
