We're a little over 24 hours away from the Ahsoka finale arriving on Disney+ and the pressure is on Dave Filoni to have delivered a satisfying conclusion to this story while setting the stage for a possible season 2 and his planned Star Wars movie.
There are still a lot of unanswered questions to address, of course, including the mystery surrounding Grand Admiral Thrawn's plan and what exactly has drawn Baylan Skoll to Peridea.
As we wait for the finale, Lucasfilm has released a huge gallery of stills from last week's penultimate episode. In those, we get a closer look at C-3PO standing alongside Hera Sydulla, Thrawn continuing to plot his return, and Ezra Bridger unleashing his powerful new Jedi powers.
Ahsoka Tano can also be seen battling Baylan shortly after he parted ways with his apprentice Shin Hati, and actress Ivanna Sakhno talked about her approach to the villain - who many believe will become the title character's new apprentice - earlier this year.
"Creating Shin, I felt my, like everyone else’s, involvement mattered. Because she’s a new character, we got to really create some of the parts of her from the very beginning. It felt like storytelling and it really does have to do with the crew because everyone is equally a genuine storyteller in the crew."
Reflecting on working alongside the late, great Ray Stevenson, she added, "We were inseparable. His impact on my life is immeasurable and so is the ache of losing him. I miss him terribly. I carry the light that was within him. I think of him every day. I only hope to honor him and all that he has given me."

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
Seven of eight episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
