Star Wars' social media channels dropped a handful of new Ahsoka stills from last week's "Shadow Warrior" earlier today, but Lucasfilm has followed those by sharing a massive gallery of hi-res shots from the episode.
As well as a closer look at the World Between Worlds sequence, we see Darth Vader's latest return to the franchise, The Clone Wars in live-action, a young Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and Anakin Skywalker's continuing struggle with his dark and light sides.
Hayden Christensen's return as Anakin was revealed in advance but never officially announced, and this latest cameo blew the minds of fans (mainly because he donned that iconic armour). It's also led to another round of praise for the actor who originally played the Jedi-turned-Sith in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
Prior to reprising his role in Ahsoka, the Obi-Wan Kenobi star shared high praise for the work Dave Filoni did on The Clone Wars alongside George Lucas.
"I love Clone Wars. I think what Dave Filoni did with Clone Wars and Rebels are brilliant," he said. "I’m indebted to Dave Filoni because I think he helped the character of Anakin a lot. I think he fleshed out the character and also furthered our understanding of Anakin’s relationship with the Jedi and the Council and the mistrust that he harboured."
"I think the franchise is in good hands right now, and what Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are doing is brilliant, and so as a fan I’m very happy to see it expand."
Christensen would later confirm he'd have happily reprised the role in animation had they asked and it's a shame that didn't happen. Of course, we can take nothing away from the incredible job Matt Lanter did with the character over several years (including briefly in Star Wars Rebels as Darth Vader).

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
The first five episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
