It's now been a couple of weeks since Ahsoka ended but, seeing as it concluded on such an open-ended note, Star Wars fans will likely be talking about it for a long time to come.
With all eight episodes streaming on Disney+, more concept art has been revealed today. This batch comes our way from artist Greg Semkow based on designs by the late Shawna Trpcic. As you can see, we have a closer look at Ahsoka Tano's spacesuit and several alternate takes on Mon Mothma for her return as the New Republic's Chancellor.
Trpcic passed away earlier this month and worked closely with showrunners/producers Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau as well as the entire cast and crew on The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka, approaching her work with surgical precision.
"Shawna had a deep love and appreciation for Star Wars," Ahsoka showrunner, Filoni, said while paying tribute to the costume designer. "You can see that in every piece of work she did with us. She loved everything about being a part of these stories, including connecting with fans and being a part of that community."
"I feel like she has always been a part of Star Wars. Her costumes tell a story, providing the suggestion of a life experience that happened before the cameras rolled. I loved collaborating with Shawna, and I will miss her presence."
Favreau adds, "Her creativity brought this world to life. She will be deeply missed both as a friend and as a colleague."
You can take a closer look at Semkow's designs below and even more can be found by visiting his ArtStation page.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
All episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
