Last week's episode of Ahsoka, "Far, Far Away," finally introduced the live-action incarnations of Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn we've been waiting to see since the show premiered, but they weren't the only new characters to make their debut in Disney+'s latest Star Wars series.
Thrawn was joined by his right-hand man Captain Enoch, played by The Expanse alum Wes Chatham, and a trio of Nightsisters known as the Great Mothers. These powerful witches are named after the three fates, Aktropaw, Klothow, and Lakesis, and one of them is played by a genuine sci-fi icon!
Though this seems to have flown under many people's radars, none other than Claudia Black (Farscape, Stargate SG1, Pitch Black) brings life to Klothow, while her sisters Aktropaw and Lakesis are played by Jeryl Prescott Gallien (The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan) and Jane Edwina Seymour (Star Trek: Picard), respectively.
As far as we can tell, Thrawn has made some sort of deal with these Nightsisters, who have agreed to help him return to his home galaxy as long as he brings them with him. Potentially more formidable than any Jedi, these magic-wielders could prove to be a lot more trouble for our heroes than the Grand Admiral and his Night Troopers in next week's season finale.
