While there's no denying Rosario Dawson is a great choice to play Ahsoka Tano, there was still some backlash when she was cast in The Mandalorian. That's primarily because of how beloved voice actress Ashley Eckstein's portrayal of the character is, with her lending her talents to the Jedi in a multitude of projects, including The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.

We recently learned that Eckstein got to meet Dawson on the set of Ahsoka, and the former had nothing but good things to say about her live-action counterpart.

However, is it possible she shot a little something while there?

"I don’t wanna start a rumor. People are like, ‘She’s on the set. She played a character.’ No, it was just a set visit," Eckstein tells Entertainment Weekly. "So I have not filmed a cameo for the Ahsoka series. I talk about throwing your dreams out into the universe, so it would be a dream come true if I got to do a cameo, because my background is in live-action."

We'd be shocked if Dave Filoni doesn't find Eckstein something to do in Ahsoka, though the actress is just as excited as everyone else to see how this story plays out.

"I cannot wait to see what’s explored in the Ahsoka series," she enthused. "I only know what the fans know, the theories that are out there, but I’m already really excited with what I think they’re going to cover in the live-action series."

Eckstein continues to be the voice of Ahsoka in animation, something Filoni has promised her will always be the case. That's why we got to hear her in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi earlier this week in episodes that explored various key moments in the hero's life (while seemingly breaking canon).

Who do you think Eckstein could play in a possible Ahsoka cameo?
