Disney+'s The Mandalorian spin-off, Ahsoka, is set to premiere in just over two weeks, and EW has now unveiled its latest digital cover, giving us a new look at Rosario Dawson's fan-favorite Force-wielder igniting her lethal dual lightsabers.
Ahsoka will serve as a live-action sequel (or a sort) to the animated Star Wars Rebels series, which concluded with Tano donning a while robe after returning to the physical world from the Force dimension known as the World Between Worlds.
What did this signify? Dawson uses a Lord of the Rings reference to explain.
"In the animation, you saw her go to the white, but what I loved is the idea that there was even another level to her. Dave and I talked a lot about Gandalf the Gray and Gandalf the White — talking about that transition and how she's someone very capable and excellent and looked up to as a leader, but she still has levels of development to go."

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.
Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.
