Ahsoka finally has a confirmed premiere date, and that's been followed by a new batch of stills showcasing key characters and moments from the Disney+ series.
A few of these images will be familiar to you, but there's a new look at Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano and some behind-the-scenes shots of the actress alongside showrunner Dave Filoni and that mysterious Sith Inquisitor.
There's been speculation among fans that the unknown character (who resembles the Eighth Brother from Star Wars Rebels) might appear in a flashback, but based on what Ahsoka is wearing here, we now know that's not the case. What an Inquisitor is doing at this point in the timeline is hard to say, of course.
Interestingly, the villain isn't alone. Instead, they're joined by an actor decked out in a motion-capture costume; whoever that character is, they'll be brought to life with visual effects, though one of the droids seen in Ahsoka's trailers is a likely possibility.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23.
