We're not just mere days away from Obi-Wan Kenobi's Disney+ premiere, and Lucasfilm has released another TV spot for the limited series. This time, the Sith Inquisitors receive a little more of the spotlight and it's clear that their mission to exterminate the Jedi is one they won't back down from.
That seemingly results in Luke Skywalker's uncle, Owen Lars, finding himself in their crosshairs as he clearly does whatever is necessary to protect Anakin Skywalker's son from these villains.
As for "Ben," it doesn't sound like he has any hope left and clearly believes the Jedi should remain in hiding. That's a noteworthy change of attitude and one that shows just how much of an impact the past 10 years have had on him. We're guessing this show puts him back on the right path.
Take a look at this newly released Obi-Wan Kenobi TV spot below:
Obi-Wan Kenobi's story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where the hero faced his greatest defeat - the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader (we're hoping to also see him as Anakin Skywalker).
Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. Deborah Chow directed all six episodes of the show which premieres on May 27 with its first two episodes and wraps up on June 22.
