Pedro Pascal Talks Gory GAME OF THRONES Death Scene And Rumors He's Leaving THE MANDALORIAN

As you might recall, there were some pretty wild rumours doing the rounds a while back suggesting Pedro Pascal planned to leave The Mandalorian due to his unhappiness about having to wear a helmet. Those were quickly debunked as being nonsense, especially as much of the actor's work is done in ADR, with stuntmen and stand-ins often taking Pascal's place during shooting due to his busy schedule.

Doing the rounds to promote The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pascal was presented with a variety of questions and shown a meme with his Game of Thrones character, Oberyn Martell, refusing to wear a helmet...and Din Djarin's insistence that he never take his off!

"I mean, do you see how good I look in that outfit head to toe?" the actor laughed, making it clear he has no problem hiding his face while starring in The Mandalorian. "The argument can be made that's the best I've ever looked, so let's just leave it." Clearly, Pascal isn't looking for more facetime in the Disney+ series, and these comments will hopefully put an end to those rumours once and for all.

In the same interview, Pascal was asked about his violent, gory death scene in Game of Thrones. "[It] makes me feel like a boss," the actor said, reflecting on arguably one of the show's gratuitous moments. "If I'm actually up there, and if I'm in the top three [most memorable death scenes], I mean...everything thereafter is a bit futile. It's like, what am I doing? Why am I still trying? I did it."

It was definitely a role that put the actor on the map, and the character's death at the hands of The Mountain remains one of the show's most memorably twisted moments. If you haven't seen it, then it can be found on YouTube, but be warned it's not a scene for those of you with a weak stomach!

The Mandalorian will return to Disney later this year, while plans for Game of Thrones sadly won't call for us to spend any additional time with the charismatic Oberyn prior to his demise.
