STAR WARS: ANDOR Final Trailer Released At D23 Along With Four Awesome New Character Posters

Lucasfilm's portion of Disney's film and television panel at D23 kicked off with Andor, and concluded with an awesome final trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series. We also have four cool new character posters that, hopefully, will be released officially sometime this afternoon.

As for the sneak peek, it does mostly recycle footage we've already seen from the show. However, the presence of Clone Troopers is very interesting, and suggests we'll be exploring more than just that five-year period before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The Andor cast did hit the stage to hype up the series, but failed to bring any intel that we haven't heard before. With just over 10 days to go before the premiere, though, we can forgive Lucasfilm for trying to maintain an element of surprise when it comes to what is obviously going to be a very ambitious 24-episode story (making it the longest Star Wars TV series to date).

Andor, a spy thriller from Lucasfilm filmed over two 12-episode seasons, takes place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The era is filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

The show presents Star Wars from a different perspective, focusing on everyday people whose lives are affected by the Empire. The decisions they make have real consequences, and the stakes for them - and the Galaxy - couldn’t be higher.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan. Tony Gilroy is also the creator and showrunner.

Andor premieres on Disney+ with its first three episodes on September 21.
