Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with Cal Kestis trying to stay one step ahead of the Empire's constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the Galaxy.
Disappointingly, the game wasn't given the spotlight during its own panel at Star Wars Celebration this weekend, but Cameron Monaghan ended up making a surprise appearance at the event to share the final gameplay trailer.
In that, we see a whole host of familiar and new enemies along with jaw-dropping action sequences that make it clear this sequel is taking full advantage of next-gen consoles. Honestly, everything about it looks bigger and better than Fallen Order, and April 28 can't get here soon enough.
The dark times are closing in as Cal seeks out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire in Jedi: Survivor, leaving the Jedi and his crew in an increasingly desperate fight as the Galaxy descends further into darkness.
Familiar friends and new allies - Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), Merrin (Tina Ivlev), and mercenary Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) - look set to stand by Cal’s side against his foes, and this new sneak peek highlights all of those characters and more.
Developed by the veteran team at Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor will expand upon iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, and characters, and thrilling combat first experienced in Jedi: Fallen Order.
Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide starting April 28.
