Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as The Daniels, are heading to the Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Coming off their huge night at the Academy Awards last Sunday (Everything Everywhere All At Once pretty much swept the board), THR reports that the filmmakers are working on upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew.

Production on the show actually wrapped a couple of months ago, but the directors involved had not been announced. It's unknown if The Daniels helmed just one episode or multiple.

Specific plot details also remain under wraps for the time being, but we do know that Jude Law will star, and the New Republic-set story will revolve around a group of kids lost in the galaxy trying to find their way home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts in on board as a producer along with The Mandalorian masterminds Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.

The Daniels are going to find themselves in very high demand after A24's EEAAO's Oscar wins. In addition to their Best Director statue, the mind-bending sci-fi drama took home Best Picture,  Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Best Editing (Paul Rogers).
