All six episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi arrived on Disney+ today, with three devoted to Ahsoka Tano and the others focusing on Count Dooku.

The latter's story proves to be particularly fascinating, as we spend time with the villain in three very specific eras. The first is during a rescue mission with a young Qui-Gon Jinn in which Dooku sees firsthand how corrupt some members of the Senate are.

Losing his temper, he uses the Force to choke a Senator, with Qui-Gon's timely intervention the only thing that stops him from going too far.

Later, we catch up with Dooku and Mace Windu on a mission to retrieve a fallen Jedi's body. While the latter wishes to stick to Jedi protocol and report back to their Masters, Dooku chooses to investigate and roots out the truth about what happened. Once again, though, he sees how the Jedi's steadfast support of the Galactic Senate is supporting corruption throughout the Galaxy.

Back on Coruscant, Dooku discovers that Windu has been appointed to the Jedi Council...because he followed the "rules."

In the third episode, we jump ahead to the events of The Phantom Menace. Dooku talks to Qui-Gon after he tells the Council about facing Darth Maul on Tatooine and acknowledges that they're unlikely to believe him. Shortly after, Qui-Gon died, proving Dooku's point.

Prior to his former apprentice's death, Dooku is shown deleting that information about Sifo-Dyas, confirming he's already working for Darth Sidious. Yaddle attempts to comfort her friend - she's voiced by The Mandalorian director and Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard - but is rejected.

Suspicious, she follows him, and watches as he meets with Sidious. Despite being upset that the Sith's fallen apprentice killed Qui-Gon, Dooku believes in the cause and engages in battle with Yaddle when she confronts him. Sidious watches on laughing, and the Count eventually overpowers the Jedi by seemingly crushing her in a brutal fashion.

In an impressive display of the Force, Yaddle managed to save herself, but is badly injured. With that, Dooku uses his lightsaber to strike her down before being named the future Emperor Palpatine's new apprentice. His fall to the Dark Side is complete, and the final, shocking fate of Yaddle has been revealed.
