Day two of Star Wars Celebration London is underway, and following the news that Mads Mikkelsen will return as Grand Admiral Thrawn for Ahsoka, we have some exciting casting news for another upcoming Disney+ Star Wars show, The Acolyte.

Russian Doll actress Rebecca Henderson will play Star Wars: The High Republic character Vernestra “Vern” Rwoh.

In the books, Vern was one of the youngest ever Jedi, and served as Padawan to Stellan Gios. The Mirialan warrior was completely devoted to the Jedi Order, but struggled to fit in with the adults while also setting a good example for the younger force-wielders.

You can get a first look at Henderson as Vern below.

Henderson joins previously announced cast members Jodie Turner-Smith, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The Acolyte is set during the High Republic era, and was pitched as “Frozen meets Kill Bill." This will be the first time any Star Wars story will be told from the perspective of the Sith, as they attempt to usurp the Jedi at their peak.

The series is set to release in 2024.
