THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT's Temuera Morrison Says He's Going To Make Sure His Character Isn't "Put On The Shelf"

We haven't seen Temuera Morrison's lethal (former) bounty hunter since the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett, but the actor is adamant that he will return to the Galaxy Far, Far Away at some point...

Though the series certainly has its defenders, it's probably fair to say that The Book of Boba Fett proved to be the most divisive of the Disney+ Star Wars shows yet, and we haven't seen the titular (former) bounty hunter since the season 1 finale.

We still don't know if Temuera Morrison will reprise the role, but if the actor has any say in the matter, Fett will return to the Galaxy Far, Far Away sooner rather than later.

During an appearance on the Whatnot UK live podcast, Morrison said he's planning to drop into Lucasfilm on his way back to New Zealand to ensure that Fett is not left "on the shelf" for too long.

"There's a few things happening in L.A... I'm looking to pop into L.A. on the way home to New Zealand... and see what's happening in the galaxy. This is why I was gonna pop in and see what's going on, and make sure they're not gonna put me on a shelf."

Morrison is probably joking, of course, but this is not the first time he's indicated that he's not particularly pleased about the way his character was treated (Fett was originally supposed to appear in season 3 of The Mandalorian, for example).

In the same interview, the Aquaman actor reiterated his desire to play a live-action take on Captain Rex, who is rumored to make his debut in Ahsoka.

What do you make of Morrison's comments? Would you like to see more of his take on Boba Fett? Let us know in the usual place.
