The first clip from The Mandalorian season 3 has found its way online today, and it offers a glimpse at what's to come as Din Djarin and Grogu continue their journey through the Galaxy.

Meeting with Greef Karga on Navarro, the bounty hunter explains that he's been exiled by his people for removing his helmet. Unfazed, his old friend offers Din the chance to settle down on the planet and be treated the way he deserves, finding peace with The Child in the process.

Talking of Grogu, the short time he spent with Luke Skywalker has clearly helped him to gain a better grasp of his powers as he can be seen using the Force to spin himself around...and pinch a few of Karga's sweets!

It's another funny, and very cute, moment but also one that suggests we'll see Grogu make use of his Jedi abilities a lot more in The Mandalorian's third season. As for Din, he's determined to head to Mandalore and regain his status as a Mandalorian, with this meeting clearly a precursor to that.

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars Galaxy continue in season 3. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the Galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The directors of the eight-episode season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey, and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Favreau is the showrunner/head writer and serves as an executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.

The Mandalorian season 3 premieres on March 1.
