THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Finale Details Reveal Game-Changing Moment In The STAR WARS Mythos - SPOILERS

A new report claims to shed some light on what we can expect from The Mandalorian season 3 finale (yes, finale), and it's looking like some huge changes are coming to the Star Wars Universe this year...

We recently shared a story with you about a cave set being utilised for The Mandalorian's upcoming third season, and Making Star Wars has now shared some additional details.

It sounds like that is indeed the Mines of Mandalore, and Din Djarin will be joined in the scene by The Armorer and Paz Vizla. The site explains that we'll also see "an 'old crusty light-skinned man' and an 'old crusty dark-skinned man' who are the leaders of oppositional Mandalorian forces." They reluctantly come together after the various clans finally unite.

Bo-Katan Kryze is reportedly the new leader of Death Watch, and a huge ceremony has been shot that, at some point, sees everyone present chant "For Mandalore."

However, the big reveal is the awakening of the legendary, and supposedly extinct, Mythosaur. Remember, we've been told that "The songs of eons past foretold of the Mythosaur rising up to herald a new age of Mandalore," and that could be what we're looking at here. Despite being nearly wiped out by the Empire, the rise of a new Mandalore would be huge for the Star Wars franchise.

This report doesn't get too specific, but there's some speculation that we'll find Praetorian Guards on the planet; does that mean Mandalore is one of the locations Emperor Palpatine is using to try and create a new body for himself? If so, it would certainly go some way in explaining why he destroyed the planet, and there's a good chance it's a powerful place for those who use the Force.

Why? Well, don't forget that Tarre Vizsla, the original wielder of the Darksaber, was both a Mandalorian and a Jedi. It's because of that many fans believe Grogu will eventually use the blade. Either way, season 3 of The Mandalorian is clearly going to dive head first into the rise of Mandalore, and we're particularly intrigued to find out how Din Djarin ultimately factors into that story.
