One of The Mandalorian's most widely discussed moments came when Bo-Katan Kryze discovered a Mythosaur beneath the Living Waters on Mandalore.

The warrior chose not to tell Din Djarin about what she'd seen, but later confessed to The Armorer who was subsequently inspired to bring together the remaining Mandalorians in order to retake their planet. As far as we're aware, they're still the only ones who know the beast is there, though many fans were disappointed that no one ended up riding the ancient creature into battle during the finale!

Talking on the Steve Varley Show, Bo-Katan actress Katee Sackhoff shared some insights into why she believes her character kept what she'd seen to herself.

"Well, this is a person who did not take the legends literally. She took them metaphorically, you know? She came out of that water seeing the symbol of her people that she didn’t ever dream existed," Sackhoff explained. "I think she thinks she’s crazy. I think she’s probably thinking, 'What the hell did I see?'"

"It was also under a stressful situation. She could have imagined that," she continued. "And I don’t think, in this moment, she trusts Mando enough to emotionally let her guard down."

That Mythosaur has to make its presence felt at some point, and we're guessing it will indeed be Din Djarin or, more likely, Grogu that tames the ancient creature.

Its introduction may even be saved for Dave Filoni's eventual Star Wars movie, particularly if Grand Admiral Thrawn decides to set his sights on Mandalore (however, that obsession was seemingly more Moff Gideon's than anyone else's in the Empire).

All episodes of The Mandalorian season 3 are currently streaming on Disney+. However, we recently learned that, due to the ongoing WGA strike, production on season 4 is likely to be delayed.
