THE MANDALORIAN Star Pedro Pascal Reportedly Only Clashed With Disney During Season 1 For A Surprising Reason

Following recent reports that there are once again issues between Lucasfilm and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal, new details have emerged about what really led to clashes prior to the show's first season.

We've long heard of supposed creative issues between The Mandalorian's creative team and star Pedro Pascal, with it typically being said that the actor plans to leave the series.

It's a little hard to believe all things considered, especially when the role of Din Djarin only requires him to perform voiceover work and reap the rewards of being the internet's, er, "daddy." Pascal has removed his helmet on a few occasions, but it's no secret that Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder primarily play the bounty hunter on set.

Those two have even received proper credit during season 3, suggesting the Wonder Woman 1984 star hasn't actually suited up at all this year.

Today, Making Star Wars (a very reliable source) has weighed in to explain that the only real clashes occurred before The Mandalorian's first season.

It's said that Disney tried to offer Pascal a voice actor's salary due to his limited amount of screentime and the fact he's rarely in the costume. Pascal pushed back on being paid a lower amount and ultimately received a standard salary (with the scene where we see his face possibly added to ensure that would be the case).

In season 3, we've yet to see Din's face but that could change in the finale. Alternatively, with Pascal so much busier these days, it might be he's now happier to step into the recording booth and make a little less money.

Look, there's always a chance that the lead character will be killed in the upcoming season 3 finale, especially as he's in the clutches of the evil Moff Gideon. We don't see it happening, though, and it seems all these so-called scoopers making claims about issues behind the scenes are only just catching up to problems from half a decade ago!
