Star Wars: Visions took a lot of fans by surprise, and the anime anthology series quickly proved itself one of the most exciting, unique takes on this Galaxy Far, Far Away we've seen in quite some time. A second batch of shorts hasn't been officially announced yet, but a report from Cinelinx (a reliable source for Star Wars news) has shared an update likely to make many of you happy.
The site reveals that they've heard from multiple sources that more Star Wars: Visions is coming to Disney+ later this year, with the prevailing opinion being that it will arrive in September or October.
That should nicely fill the gap between Andor and The Mandalorian, and while there's currently no word on which animation studios are working on the series, there will reportedly be some returning from the first season. That means we'll be getting follow-ups to certain stories, with familiar characters from that first round of shorts coming back (and there are definitely some we hope to see more of).
It sounds like an official announcement and perhaps even some footage will debut during next month's Star Wars Celebration, so we may not have too much longer to wait before this news is made official.
