Apple TV+ has just unleashed the first trailer for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, confirming it will premiere on the streaming platform on November 17!
The other big surprise in this sneak peek is the presence of Kong: Skull Island's Bill Randa, the character played by John Goodman in the 2017 movie. He was a senior official in Monarch and in charge of the expedition to Kong's home; however, when we last saw Bill, he was in the jaws of a monstrous Skullcrawler, so we don't anticipate him having survived that adventure.
Still, all signs point to him being a key part of this series, with Kurt Russell's character seemingly setting out to expose a long-kept secret which could change this world as we know it.
Elsewhere in the teaser, we see more of Godzilla and learn what sort of impact the King of the Monsters has had on the world since first rising from the ocean's depths. There are other Titans here as well, though, and it looks like Monarch will have its hands full.
As we're sure you'll remember, they're the S.H.I.E.L.D.-like organisation tasked with keeping track of the world's Titans; they previously appeared in Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and the upcoming Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

"Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real," the synopsis for the 10-episode series reads, "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch."
"Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga - spanning three generations - reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives."
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Mari Yamamoto, Ren Watabe, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.
