Greg Daniels has used the television medium to direct and write comedies for years, both live-action and animated. From The Office and Parks and Recreation to The Simpsons and King of the Hill, the creator has mostly stuck to one genre.
In the last couple of years that has changed, however, with Daniels dipping his toe into science fiction by reuniting with Steve Carell (The Office, 40 Year Old Virgin) in Space Force for Netflix and diving headfirst into the genre with Amazon Prime's Upload.
Starring Robbie Amell (The Flash, The Tomorrow People) as Nathan, a man who is "uploaded" to a digital heaven under mysterious circumstances and is forced to adjust to every day life as artificially intelligent avatar, Upload is touted as Prime Video's number one half hour comedy series.
Given the massive popularity the show gained it is no surprise that a third season is already in the works even before Season 2 is released. The wait for more Lakeview is almost over, however, as a brand new trailer has dropped showing some of what can be expected when all new episodes hit the streamer in just under three weeks.
