The battle lines have been drawn between the Blacks and Greens, and now, we're inching closer and closer to the Dance of the Dragons!

Tonight's installment of House of the Dragon saw a number of big developments as both sides loaded up and gained some major reinforcements, with Aemond (Leo Ashton) first claiming Vhagar for the Greens - before losing his eye in a show-stopping fight with his nephews and cousins.

This led to a tense confrontation between Alicent (Oliva Cooke) and Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy), which ultimately saw the Greens and Blacks start to take sides, as the whole room become well aware of Alicent's true nature, giving Rhaenyra a slight upper hand moving into the rest of the hour.

The excellent episode ended with Rhaenyra and Daemon (Matt Smith) finally sealing the deal by getting married, further strengthening her claim to the Iron Throne. But not without one last big twist ,as they helped give Laenor (John Macmillan) the out he's been seeking and aided him with faking his own death.

Check out the new preview for episode eight, titled "The Lord Of The Tides," below:
