HOUSE OF THE DRAGON: New Promo & Featurette For The Season Finale; "The Black Queen"

At long last, the Dance of the Dragons has arrived, and based on the "The Black Queen" season finale promo, there's going to be a lot of fire and blood next week to get things started!

We've waited all season for this moment and it's finally arrived: the Dance of the Dragons!

With Alicent (Olivia Cooke) placing Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) on the Iron Throne, things are about to get really heated between the Greens and the Blacks, led by Viserys' intended heir Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy).

The newly released promo isn't particularly spoiler-y, but if you've read the book, you'll surely recognize some of the events they're teasing as the Targaryen Civil War gets underway. It looks like both sides will be ready for blood and fire next week - and possibly some heartbreak before the credits roll on Sunday's finale.

Check out the new preview for the season one finale, titled "The Black Queen," below:

Season One features Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans, with Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Ryan Corr, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes, and Savannah Steyn.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
