HOUSE OF THE DRAGON: New Preview & Featurette For Episode 7: "Driftmark"

Following a ten-year time jump, things are really starting to heat up on House of the Dragon, especially with the King's death swiftly approaching and setting the stage for war between the Blacks and Greens!

While much has changed in the ten years since the previous installment, much has also remained the same, namely the hatred Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) and Alicent (Olivia Cooke) hold for one another as they await King Viserys' (Paddy Considine) demise and plot their respective succession plans.

With Rhaenyra now leaving for Dragonstone, the Dance of the Dragons is swiftly approaching and it looks like next week's installment could take another big time jump as the Targaryen Civil War doesn't actually begin until 129 AC, which is about twelve years from where we're currently at in the story.

However, that doesn't mean more seeds won't be planted in next week's episode as Alicent begins to make some serious moves that finally reveal her true colors to everyone involved and possibly sees her come to blows with her former best friend.

Check out the new preview for episode seven, titled "Driftmark," below:

Season One features Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans, with Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Ryan Corr, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes, and Savannah Steyn.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
